Aierlan, 12 Mar 2025I think a few brands use the s for a follow up model. Xiaomi also do it. e.g. Xiaomi 12s and 1... moreApple used the "s" moniker in phones almost a decade ago withe 3s, 4s, and 5s.
Will it be available in the UK. Currently only the pro is available.
Bring back the Zenfone, Asus!
It's about time already!!!

Larssen, 12 Mar 2025I take it that you're advocating for larger size phones than smaller phones. I can't... moreWell had some misstyping thats all.
Yes i am trying to say small phones have small specs and are usually much worse in terms of usability and battery endurance compared to large phones.
Small phones also have small screens and are more challenging to type on such small screen or reading from such small screen unless user going to use magnyfier or bigger letters.
Well i dont want to have a single word displayed over my screen to read it without issues.
But i can understand there is a small market or small ghroup of people who are hapy for small phone because they are also small.
For example it would be silly to see someone like Dwane Johnson using a 13 mini or simmilar 5,8-6 inch device.
Anonymous, 12 Mar 2025just because the screen size was smaller doesn't necessarily mean the size of the phone w... moreObviously you missed my point. I wasn't saying that a small phone is too big for me.
I brought up the OG Note because at the time that was considered a big phone as opposed to the 4.7" phones that were the norm, so your argument is null and void.
Before you give me advice on DNA I suggest that you brush up on your literacy skills as clearly it's sadly poor.
As for skinny jeans alpha males don't wear that item of clothing.

Mini is the new maxi. And thank God for that. Those large phones are relics of the past.
mr stoosh, 12 Mar 2025Lol What about when the normal size for a phone around 2014 was 5.4"
Even the first Ga... morejust because the screen size was smaller doesn't necessarily mean the size of the phone was smaller, for example you brought up the Galaxy Note, that was both wider and thicker than the Find X8 (T879 model for reference). Also, phones were primarily smaller because the hardware demands were not as great, there wasn't AI algorithms, AAA games, photo/video editing software, 24-bit and higher audio, massive customization options, or even a reliable wireless signal.
Unless you're willing to give up most, or all of the above, I'd suggest you just get better DNA if a small phone is too big for you, or stop wearing skinny jeans

Even the first Galaxy Note phone had a 5.3" screen which was considered massive.
I've said it many times before and I will say it again there's a minority who don't want to use let alone carry big phones and want smaller phones.

Just because you don't want or care to use a smaller phone you can't basically put your demands over others...
AnonF-1061058, 12 Mar 2025Yeah no. Just because most companies start using 6,3" as the small standard doesn't ... moreThat you accept it or not, that's your problem. But it is what it is; 6.2-6.3" is the new standard for compact phones.
David 040882, 12 Mar 2025Not for these days, it's not.Yeah no. Just because most companies start using 6,3" as the small standard doesn't mean I'm gonna accept it as the standard of "Mini" phones. Even iPhone 16 is still smaller than those phones.

I also had a Xiaomi 10s before. I guess it came from iphones initially but not sure
