The cell signal on the 13 is far... moreI owned 3 differents Pixel 9 units , comparing to my Iphone 15 PRO and also Iphone 13 network was the same more or less so we/I can say that Tensor ( exynos 2024) modem is not bad as it was in the pass, maybe your Op13 has better modem with the SD elite BUT s25 having the same SOC is having network issues and lots of complaints.

I had the 9 Pro XL - sold it. Currently using the OnePlus 13. The cell signal on the 13 is far, far, FAR better than on the Pixel 9. Exact same location on the Pixel = 103-105
On the OnePlus it sits at between 97-101 lower numbers are better.
So while I like the looks of the 9A (hate all the gargantuan camera carbuncles) the fact that it will be using the same modem as the regular 9 series makes it an absolute NOPE from me!

Anonymous, 12 Mar 2025Nah, the full visor was/is better, but regardless, I agree with "visor > little bump" yeah, i like the full visor the most, especially on the pixel six. but the 9 series design is much better than this 'minimalistic' 9a

I am so happy that it does not have the ugly humongous "among us" camera bump of the regular 9. I've needed a new phone for a long time but couldnt live with the 9. Only minor downside is that the two colors variants are very feminine again. Looking forward to get it.

The bad AI features currently are anything in the generative AI spectrum. Chatbots are okay, but are far away from "good enough", so let others test it until it is actually "good enough"

I like the minimal camera look. Adds character & differentiates the phone.
However, I hate flat rails on a phone. Always have, and using the S23 solidified that opinion. Older Pixels were better designed to actually be in the hand.
Of all current hardware, the body design of the OnePlus 13 is the only one I'd want to have.
(and I'd buy almost anything other than Pixel, just to be rid of "AI")
And I say this as someone using a Pixel 6a.
