But 8g1 runs very hot so ends up being worse unless you cool it.
8sg3 has same cores as 8g3 just lower clocks and numbers so i put it like that.

pl2rts, 13 Mar 2025Poco F3 GT had D1200 as MTK chip so think before you say something without facts to back it upNice
Aslam Zubair, 13 Mar 2025But D8400 U (turbo 4) is already rebranded to poco x7proAre you the anon i reply to ?
If not then read his comment too. He said F series is specially only for snapdragon basically.
What are you commenting on me now ? Turbo 4 was rebranded to X7 Pro indeed but year ago there was also only the second generation of Turbo and only single model of it. While in this year they added Turbo 4 Pro that now will be rebranded to F7. While Turbo 4 Pro be released in April so it be rebranded to Poco F7 for the May release like Poco F series is launching the phones previously

Anonymous, 13 Mar 2025Why would there be a MTK on a Poco F series though? Well this is just rumors I guess.Poco F3 GT had D1200 as MTK chip so think before you say something without facts to back it up

F1 has its years flagship, f4 2 year old flagship, f5 underclocked cut down flagship, f6 has a kinda low end version of that years flagship.

what??? ain't no way they are giving POCO F7 a Dimensity chipset??? man...
The Poco F series (vanilla version) has traditionally used "last years flagship" Snapdragon chipset.
This means that it should have had the Snapdragon 8 gen 3 on board - not an overclocked midranger from MTK.
That was the whole reason to buy it in the first place. A high end chipset in a less-premium body with "ok" cameras and a non-intrusive, small 20 mp selfie cam.
Now it's basically just a midranger with a relatively mediocre GPU and none of the Snapdragon chipset AI or Snapdragon Sound features.
I have had the F1, and still have the F3.
Time to shop around for the non-Xiaomi spiritual successor I guess...
Bad phone Poco f7 best phone is Poco c75
F7 easilg beats nothing and samsung middange.
Such a poorly written article why will redmi turbo3 be f7 when its already available as x7 pro globally
I hope these models have better battery life than the previous Poco X7s
Anonymous, 12 Mar 2025So F7 and X7 pro are the same phone? No. The author of this article is just confused. The Turbo 4 was already rebranded as the x7 pro so they are not going to rebrand that again. There will be an upcoming Turbo 4 pro phone with the new Snapdragon 8s elite chip launched fairly soon in China (in April). That could possibly be rebranded as the F7 (if there is any F7).
It's nice that they're not releasing these flagship killers in a T sku with expensive cameras this time around
So releasing month before usual and the base F7 will be totally useless if it be with same chip as X7 Pro
So what be the point to get F7 in that case when F series is typically 100 euro more then X Pro
If there is no 8s elite then use something like 8 gen 2 or 3 for it. At least makes more sense then to use D8400
Anonymous, 12 Mar 2025So F7 and X7 pro are the same phone? Yes, F vanilla end on Global, Now is X Pro for Global, and F Pro/ Ultra Global..
